Day two in Singapore we headed to Gardens by the Bay. It was just as beautiful in real life as it is in all the pictures I’ve seen online.
Super Tree Grove
We started off at Super Tree Grove which was one of the entrance points for the gardens. I snuck into the gift store to check out the knick knacks they were selling and ended up leaving with a postcard. I loved walking around these beautiful ‘trees’ and the best part is it is totally free to roam around most of the garden. You can also go up the top of the trees and walk around them for a fee but I opted not to do it this time.
The Cool Conservatory
After spending a little bit of time walking around the gardens we moved onto the domes. The ticket can be purchased for $28 SGD and allows you entry into both the cloud forest and the flower dome. We opted to head to the cloud forest first and it was just as beautiful as I imagined. Beautiful trees and plants surrounded the whole dome. You climb upto the 6th floor on an elevator and make your way down along multiple bridges to enjoy the gardens from different perspectives. Since the dome is made of glass you get amazing views of some of Singapores’ highlights like the Super Tree Grove, Marina Bay Sands and the Singapore Flyer.
The next stage was going to the flower dome, however it was already dark so my pictures didn’t turn out very good. I definitely want to go back to the flower dome again in the day time because the flowers there were absolutely stunning.
We ended the night by watching the light show called Garden Rhapsody that runs from 7pm-9pm daily at the Super Tree Grove. It was a pretty good show it was 15 minutes long (my attention span isn’t that long unless I’m in Dior of course). The music matched perfectly with the lights and I loved the traditional Singapore music they played with it too.
Since it was extremely hot and humid in Singapore averaging around 35 degrees while I was there I went for simple outfits that required the least amount of clothes so I could stay cooler. I love this matching set from Sabo Skirt and I paired it with my favourite Prada handbag the Cahier. I had to put my hair up in a bun because it was so hot (so please ignore the messiness of it). You can shop the look below.
